Warehouse Workers - Recycling (Detroit)

Fabiano Brothers has immediate openings for warehouse workers who will recycle cans, bottles, and other materials at the Detroit warehouse. This position requires continuous work involving the manual collection, separation, compacting and crushing, and shipping of recyclable material collected from delivery route trucks and related areas. The shift is Tuesday - Friday from 7:00am until approximately 4:00pm. Starting wage is $15.00/hour

Qualifications and Duties: Maintain cleanliness of the recycling facility and remove any hazards from the area. Ability to repetitively stack, move, and sort products weighing 50 lbs or more. Ability to repetitively lift, load, unload, and move products weighing 50 lbs or more. May build palletized loads from computer-generated load sheets. Make sure the recycling area and functions meet Fabiano Brothers standards. May be required to listen and read work orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and shipped. Must be able to operate a sit-down fork truck or learn to operate one. Ability to understand, follow, and transmit written and oral instructions. High School Diploma or GED required. Fulfill all the physical requirements of the job. Fabiano Brothers  is a family-owned beer wholesaler with over 130 years of service to the communities in our distribution area.
