What is Required?

Passion for helping people including bathing, housekeeping, and meal prep. Transportation: Must own a reliable and well-maintained vehicle. Must have a valid driver's license. Staff Aides will primarily work in Bergen County and should be able to travel within the area to fulfill their duties.

Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus (But not necessary)

Occasional heavy lifting: Ability to work for extended periods of time while standing and being involved in physical activity.

NJ Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) License Schedule: Staff Aides must be available to work six days a week. This schedule is not permanent and may vary based on staffing needs, including callouts, fill-ins, and vacations. The schedule is provided by Elara and may change weekly or every few weeks. Will need to work one weekend day any weekday off.  Ability to adapt to changing work assignments and environments. Strong communication skills and a customer service-oriented approach.

You will report to the Care Team Supervisor.
