Position Overview

The Information Technology Department is eager to announce a vacancy for a MuleSoft Developer position. The ideal candidate will be pivotal in reinforcing our expansive Application Development initiatives, emphasizing API-led integration using the MuleSoft platform. Given our consistent roll-out of application updates, the position requires a commitment to efficient and high-quality delivery for our end-users.

Job Description

Lead the design and development of MuleSoft applications, ensuring they align with the business needs and IT strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship. Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits. Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team. Research and evaluate a variety of software products to aid in project development and operational efficiency. Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, and estimates. Prepare reports, manuals, and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software. Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code. Package and support the deployment of releases. Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications. Analyze and resolve technical and application problems. Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget. Provide third-level support to business users. Design and develop APIs from specification to implementation in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. Participate in the continuous improvement of MuleSoft & cloud-based tools and processes. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization. Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and manage expectations. Participate in regular project and department meetings. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required. 3+ years of related professional experience Proven hands-on experience in MuleSoft development, including designing, building, and managing APIs and integrations. Knowledge of the MuleSoft Anypoint platform, including design patterns, MuleSoft API-led connectivity, and error handling. Proficiency in software development languages and tools. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and their application in MuleSoft projects. Experience with tools and technologies related to integration, such as REST API, Web Services, XML, and JSON. Understanding of testing methodologies and their application in software development. Deep understanding of the MuleSoft platform, its capabilities, and best practices. MuleSoft Developer certification preferred.
