Job Posting Summary

The Modern Foreign Languages Program at Mercy University is seeking Adjunct Instructors in Spanish and Italian for in-person courses at our Dobbs Ferry and Bronx Campuses.

Daytime availability to teach in-person courses at our Dobbs Ferry or Bronx campuses is essential. Adjunct faculty are not eligible for relocation assistance. 

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

 Teaching experience preferred.  Education Requirements:
 M.A. in Spanish or Italian, or related field.  Physical/Other Requirements: 
Availability to travel to multiple campuses Must be able to push, pull, move or lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to meet all general health requirements for the position as per university policies Compensation is based on a semester and calculated on a semi-monthly pay cycle.

Mercy University promotes a community campus environment. As a result, employment is limited to the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. Applicants outside of those states or the USA will be required to relocate. Relocation assistance may be provided for eligible moves.
