Kelly Science & Clinical is currently recruiting candidates for a Weekend QC Lab Technician position at a food manufacturing company in Eau Claire, WI. Candidates must be willing to work a 12 hour day shift on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (no exceptions). As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for sampling, inspecting, and testing incoming ingredients and finished goods to ensure the safety and quality of the company’s products.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze raw materials, process samples, final products, water, and environmental samples
  • Perform a variety of analyses including moisture, conductivity, pH, etc. to ensure samples meet quality standards
  • Release raw materials that are within quality specifications for production
  • Proper documentation of testing results into data management system
  • Maintain and calibrate testing equipment
  • Maintain a neat/clean/safe laboratory and work space
  • Order supplies and materials as needed
Qualifications: 
  • BS degree in a Chemistry or related field
  • 2-5 years of industry lab experience
  • Ability to perform laboratory techniques, keep accurate records, and comply with company policies
  • Problem solving skills with the ability to make accurate and timely decisions
  • Organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment are required
This is a possible temp to hire position with a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 12 hour day shift work schedule. The pay rate for the position is $25 per hour. If you meet the above qualifications, please submit your resume for immediate consideration. #P1
