As a part of the OptumCare network, Riverside Medical Group is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our growing team 

Schedule : 8:45 am to 5:00 pm Monday Tuesday , Wednesday and Friday - On Thursdays from 8:45 pm to 7 pm 

Brick office on Saturdays 9 am to 1 pm 1 to 2 Saturdays a month

Primary Responsibilities:

Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipmentRoom patients, obtain health history, check vital signs and perform EKG’sAdminister injections and collect specimensDocument patient care using electronic medical record softwareSchedule appointments, complete prior authorizations, process medication refills, handle referrals, answer calls and complete paperwork as neededAssist physicians, nurse practitioners or physician assistants with minor, in-office procedures

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED National Medical Assistant certificationComputer literacyFlexible Schedule ; 2 Saturdays per month and can assist at nearby practices

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience as a Medical Assistant performing clinical back-office duties including phlebotomy, injections, obtaining vital signs and recording medical historyExperience with Epic EMRPeds Experience

New Jersey Residents Only: The hourly range for this role is $16.00 to $28.27 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
