Clinical Practice Manager

Functions in a management position, accountable for planning, organizing, directing, and communicating for the Med Center Health Hematology and Oncology physician practice and The Medical Center at Bowling Green Outpatient Chemotherapy and Infusion department. Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the delivery of nursing care in the department. Serves as a representative of the departments and is a liaison to other departments and individuals. Responsible for promoting a work environment that is conducive to quality patient care and employee engagement. Makes decisions within the framework of the organization's philosophies, policies, and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
Three years of experience as a staff nurse with demonstrated leadership skills required. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required. Associate’s degree in Nursing and equivalent Infusion and/or Chemotherapy experience may be considered in lieu of required Bachelor’s degree. Kentucky RN license or RN license in a State recognized by the Kentucky Nurse Licensure Compact Act required effective June 1, 2007. Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) required.
