About Klahanie Eyecare Center and Lakemont Eyecare

Klahanie Eyecare Center was established in 2004, following the opening of Lakemont Eyecare in 2009. Both practices provide the surrounding communities with full-service optometry to families and residents of all ages and visual/medical diagnoses. The Optometrists provide specialized support for a wide array of conditions such as macular degeneration, dry eye, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and cataracts. Plus, both practices specialize in children’s eye exams, specialty contact lenses and surgical co-management. Conveniently located in busy shopping centers, Klahanie Eyecare Center is just 10 miles from Lakemont Eyecare, easily accessible from I-90.

Both practices utilize state-of-the-art vision care technology to diagnose and treat a wide array of eye diseases, and behind-the-scenes functional technology, including digital retinal imaging and visual field testing. Patients enjoy personalized service from the friendly Opticians to help them select the proper frames for visual and lifestyle needs.

About the opening

Klahanie Eyecare Center and Lakemont Eyecare are seeking an Optometrist who can consistently provide personalized care to ensure excellent eye health. In this role, you will provide primary patient care to families and children, three to five days a week, including Saturdays. Both offices are open 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and care for approximately 20 patients daily. This is an excellent opportunity to work with other experts in the field and directly impact patient and financial growth for both practices. Competitive compensation between $150k-220k and additional benefits will be discussed.

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as compassion for patient health and safety. The ideal candidate will want to continuously develop skills through mentorship with experienced doctors, and willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.
