We have an exciting opportunity for a Scientist to join our Applied Sciences and Technologies (ASTech) team within the Agile Mission Systems (AMS) division here in San Diego.

We are looking for a scientist who enjoys developing new technologies and techniques that solve critical problems, with the ability to assist in rapid prototyping for proof-of-concept demonstrations. In this role, you will support the development of novel sensing capabilities leveraging a wide range of technologies; RF, AI/ML, EO/IR, DSP, EW, etc. The successful candidate will report to and work closely with the Manager of the RF & Signal Processing team.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Initiate and develop highly innovative solutions to advanced technical problemsPerform assessments of candidate state-of-the-art signal processing algorithmsDevelop sensing capabilities leveraging a wide range of technologies; RF, AI/ML, EO/IR, DSP, EW, etc.Develop and assess novel communications solutions, including waveforms, networking, and electronicsPerform analysis of candidate designs to determine the impact to subsystem and system performanceProvide expert guidance and consulting to other staff membersAssist in the concept generation for, and authorship of, white papers and proposalsSupport supplier and subcontractor evaluationsProvide technical management of subcontracts when requiredRepresent the Company as a technical contact to customers and suppliersPerforms other duties as assigned or requiredWe recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.
