The wage rate is determined by experience. Paid holidays and paid time off. Shift differential - $1.50 for 2nd shift. 401k with a match.  Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans for employees and families. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.  Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week, and overtime as necessary. 2nd shift hours are 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM Monday – Friday. Training may be on the 1st shift (6 AM – 2:30 PM) for approx.. 6 months.

As a Thermal Spray Technician, you will be responsible for performing HVOF, plasma, and/or other thermal spray coating operations per customer requirements and job folder specifications. In addition, you will:

Review the job folder to verify the area of the part to be masked, cleaned, and/or blasted and coated. Confirm all pre-coating requirements have been completed according to job folder specifications. Blueprint reading is a preferred skill. Set up parameters and process and operate thermal spray equipment and robotics. Follow in-process inspection procedures as needed to verify current operation meets customer and technical plan requirements. Competency in the use of basic precision measuring instruments. Record and sign off on all applicable data defined in the job folder.

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holders. Education – High School diploma and technical certification, two-year degree in a technical field, or combination of training and experience. Working experience in a production environment that demonstrates the capability to learn thermal spray processes. Previous plasma, thermal spray, and/or HVOF spray experience preferred.
