* Starting Pay Range: $15.00/HR to $18.75/HR * Under the leadership of the Print Shop Supervisor, the Print Shop Assistant supports all of the day-to-day operations within a deadline-driven, high-volume production facility. The Print Shop Assistant works closely with other team members at the Print Shop as well as completing individually assigned tasks. Some of the assignments include pre-press and production file set up and operating digital printers, mailing machines and hydraulic paper cutters. Assists with various production jobs including printing, cutting, folding and padding. Assists with the bundling, packaging and distribution of Nation and enterprise mailings. Using the company vehicle, delivers print jobs to properties and the Post Office on a daily basis. Operates various types of postage equipment to seal envelopes, packages, affix postage and address outgoing mail. Maintains inventory of mail supplies including mail trays, sacks, sleeves and tubs — replenishes stock as needed from USPS. Assists with in-house graphic services for various forms and documents for the Oneida Indian Nation and its enterprises using Adobe and variable data software. Provides support to wide-format printing department in the areas of laminating, vinyl application and cutting of various sign boards.Key attributes we're seeking as a Print Shop Assistant are:
High School Diploma or equivalency. Experience, or the ability to be trained, on various print production equipment including high-volume copiers. Some experience in graphic print industry and knowledge of graphic design or software helpful. Valid New York State driver’s license is required.Who We Are:
