We are seeking an experienced OR Circulating Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our dynamic team. Job Overview:  As an Operating Room Registered Nurse at Tullahoma Surgery Center, you will be an integral part of our surgical team. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients during surgical procedures, collaborating with surgeons and other healthcare professionals, and maintaining the highest standards of patient care in the operating room.

Key Responsibilities:

Surgical Assistance:  Provide direct patient care during surgical procedures, assisting surgeons and scrub personnel, and maintaining a sterile environment. Patient Advocacy:  Advocate for patients' needs, comfort, and safety throughout their surgical experience. Medication Administration:  Administer medications and anesthesia as prescribed, monitoring patient responses. Emergency Response:  Respond quickly to any intraoperative emergencies, ensuring the immediate availability of necessary supplies and support. Documentation:  Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records, including surgical counts and documentation of intraoperative events. Infection Control:  Adhere to strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to minimize the risk of surgical site infections. Team Collaboration:  Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical techs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and safe surgical operations.

Required Skills:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in TN.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Operating Room Nurse.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instrumentation, and aseptic techniques.
• Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to maintaining patient safety and confidentiality.
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and guidelines.
