Data Storage Architect

Responsibilities:

  • Engineer, design, implement, upgrade, harden, and manage customer SAN/NAS environments.
  • Provision and allocate storage to server assets (VM, Windows and UNIX Based), including assignment of RAID level, LUN, and VOLUME configurations.
  • Provide data backup, restoration, and redundancy in line with customer requirements.
  • Knowledge of Cisco SAN Fabrics, Brocade SAN Fabrics, EMC SAN/NAS storage technologies and NFS, iSCSI, CIFS, S3, and FC storage protocols.
  • Experience with Dell EMC storage solutions such as Data Domain, Avamar, Isilon and Dell’s line of Power Servers.

Familiarity with Dell and/or VMware platforms is essential:

  • Must have hands-on experience managing and troubleshooting Dell or VMware products.
  • Proven ability to respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents.
  • Solid background in cybersecurity practices and protocols.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites at short notice as required.
