Easy Ice continues to grow and seeks a bright, highly motivated HVACR Install Technician to join their team in the Austin, TX market. The Install Technician position requires the highest level of professionalism, problem solving and communication skills for this critical, customer-facing role. The Install Technician works independently, providing technical service to install and change out ice machines at various locations, while delivering the desired customer service experience. The Install Technician aspires to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction and maximizes customer retention.

The successful, results-oriented technician will be able to install ice machines, aiming to increase equipment life and reliability, reduce service calls and emergency ice purchases, all while increasing customer happiness and loyalty. The Installer will demand the best of themselves and their colleagues to deliver outstanding results.

Responsibilities:

Deliver and install ice equipment; deliver ice as requiredDocument installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and recordsClean and wrap equipment for installsCross train with service technicians to assist with quick fixesAssist in ice deliveries and bagging as neededHelp to maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the shopMaintain cleanliness of vehicle ensuring all ice and trash is removed at the end of your shiftCheck vehicle fluids, wipers and tires to help maintain a long service-lifeProject a positive Automatic Icemakers brand imageContribute to team effort by performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Vocational/Technical Training preferredDemonstrated track record of delivering highest level of customer satisfaction3-6 months proven field service experienceMust have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving recordStrong command of company’s policies and proceduresContinuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer’s experienceA desire to continually increase your knowledge of the industries we serve; and, products, services and processes our company can produceExhibit good decision making, analytical problem solving and excellent organizational abilitiesCommunicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, and possess excellent interpersonal skillsOccasionally lift and/or move up to 75 poundsThe employee is often required to stand; walk; sit; use ladders; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel surfaces, parts and tools; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlAbility to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing work schedules
