How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare
Must currently be certified as a Law Enforcement Officer by the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS)
Provides professional law enforcement services to the Carilion Clinic. These services include carrying out the objectives of the Clinic, the preservation of peace and protection of life and property, the prevention of crime and the enforcement of laws.
What We Require
Education High School or equivalent required, college degree preferred.
Experience Certified law enforcement officer with at least 5 years of criminal investigations experience.
Licensure, certification, and/or registration (1) Has met Virginia minimum training standards for law enforcement officers and is currently certified as a law enforcement officer by the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services. Valid Virginia driver’s license required.
Other Minimum Qualifications Must possess a driving record within the scope of Carilion’s Driver Regulations. Due to Virginia’s state law, the applicant must be at least 21 years of age. Computer keyboarding skills. Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Meets Virginia’s minimum requirements for law enforcement officers.
