About The Position

American Medical Staffing (AMS) puts you first, and we are currently seeking a Correctional – Physical Therapist Assistant to join our corrections medical team in Waverly, Virginia. This is a maximum security state men's prison with a maximum capacity of 1,139 inmates.

PTA – Corrections Job Details:

• Pay Rate: $1,170 - $1,370 per week
• Schedule: 8:00a - 5:30p
• Available Shift: Days, 5 shifts per week
• Start Date: Two weeks from offer
• Located In: Waverly, Virginia
• Requirements: Qualified applicants MUST have at least 1-2 years of experience, preferably in a corrections or similar setting, have a valid Physical Therapist Assistant license and be willing to obtain VA licensure.

As a Correctional Physical Therapist Assistant you will play a crucial role in providing medical care to incarcerated individuals, contributing to their well-being and rehabilitation. You will collaborate with healthcare providers and correctional staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
