We have an exciting opportunity for a Module Design/Development Test Lead to join our Module Development Section with the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions (AMS) Department as a test lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the test of RF/microwave modules containing GaAs- and GaN-based monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) products. This would be in active support of existing technologies in production as well as next generation products in development. This position requires a strong academic background and experience in RF/Microwave Integration & Test.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

Conduct testing on multi-channel RF Modules characterizing both receive and transmit behavior Maintain and troubleshoot rackmount test stations and LabVIEW test scripts Consult with RF module design and assembly teams

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 5 + years minimum experience in RF/Microwave modules. Experience with microwave testing techniques, including using spectrum analyzers, Real-time Spectrum Analyzers (RSAs), Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs) and Performance Network Analyzer (PNAs) Experience with RF Testing, LabVIEW Scripting, Data Analysis The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Value:

A Master’s degree or PhD. in a Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) Field  Excellent written and oral communication skills Experience in a production environment Strong academic background that includes courses in: Microwave Engineering, Microwave Systems, Electromagnetic Theory and Radar SystemsExperience with analytical tools such as Matlab, Python, or JMP Current DoD Secret level security clearance Experience with GaAs and / or GaN MMIC devices

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.This role is a U.S.-based role.
