The Residential Sales Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision of MaxxSouth’s Residential Sales Team. The Residential Sales Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the activities and monitoring the performance of the D2D sales representatives. The Residential Sales Supervisor is expected to promote a positive, customer first attitude and effectively execute strategic sales initiatives that align with the Company’s organizational objectives and contribute to business growth and customer retention. The Residential Sales Supervisor reports directly to the Manager, Residential Sales Direct reports to this role include Residential Sales Consultants.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The Residential Sales Supervisor:

Oversees daily sales operations and monitors performance to ensure the Residential Sales team is trending to hit monthly quotas and KPIs; Develops and implements Outbound strategic sales plans to grow and retain the Company’s customer base and provide exceptional customer service; Ensures revenue and performance standards for all Residential Sales Consultants are clearly defined, communicated, executed, and achieved; Onboards, trains, and mentors new D2D sales representatives on effective sales techniques, product knowledge, and Outbound sales best practices; Monitors performance metrics to identify and act on both positive and negative performance trends to ensure that revenue goals and performance standards are met, assessing training and coaching needs and creating opportunities for performance improvement; Owns the performance management cycle of direct reports to include annual employee performance reviews, goal setting, coaching, discipline, etc. Drives team efficiency and productivity while fostering a work environment that is engaging and slightly competitive, encourages positivity and accountability, supports collaboration and teamwork, and is fair, unbiased, and consistent; Manages customer complaints and collaborates effectively with interdepartmental leadership to resolve complex escalations and provide high levels of customer satisfaction; Hosts team meetings and one-on-ones on a regular cadence and communicates changes to the Company’s products, services, promotions, pricing, procedures, and processes in a timely manner to ensure that his/her team is well informed; Performs real-time evaluations of individual sales team members, providing positive and negative feedback on customer interactions; Represents MaxxSouth at Company-sponsored and community events and encourages team participation in community engagement activities; Creates and maintains work schedules, thoroughly reviews and approves time sheets, and manages time-off requests for direct reports, ensuring adequate coverage of assigned territories; Ensures the confidentiality of all customer information; Follows and enforces the Company’s policies and procedures, including the EEO guidelines and safety, at all times; Performs miscellaneous duties as necessary.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

High School diploma/equivalent – required Previous experience in a management, supervisory, or team lead role - preferred 4+ years of door-to-door experience - required Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) - required Working knowledge of CSG, Smartsheets, and Tableau - preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Walking, kneeling, standing, stooping, sitting, driving, hearing, talking, vision (close, distant, color, depth perception, adjust focus), and use of hands and fingers. Light lifting of 25 lbs. is occasionally needed.

WORKING CONDITIONS

The Residential Sales Supervisor is a full-time, non-exempt, hourly position. The regular work hours are 8AM-5PM Monday – Friday. The Residential Sales Supervisor works in an automated business office environment with business office equipment including telephones, personal computers, copiers, and FAX machines. The Residential Sales Supervisor is required to drive on the job as needed and is subject to regular MVR checks. He/she must maintain a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record the meets Company standards for an insurable driver at all times. Any time these conditions are not met, he/she must not drive on the job and must immediately report it to their supervisor. The Company is a drug-free workplace. All employees are required to adhere to the Company’s drug-free workplace programs and policies. Pre-employment testing is mandatory.
