Join our dedicated DV STOP program as a Case Manager , where you'll play a vital role in providing support and resources to individuals affected by domestic violence. In this role, you'll work closely with clients to assess their needs, develop personalized safety plans, and connect them with essential services, such as housing, legal assistance, and counseling. Your compassionate approach and strong advocacy skills will help empower survivors on their path to safety and recovery.
Hourly Pay Rate: $20+ (depending on years of experience)
Schedule: Saturday and Sunday; 12pm – 10pm (part-time)
Location: Mesa, AZ
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School or GED required. Associate or Bachelor’s Degree, preferred. Bilingual verbally in Spanish, preferred.Experience:
1- year experience working with domestic violence, homeless, or economically disadvantaged population required. Knowledge of community resources. Knowledge of and/or experience with trauma-informed practices required.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES . Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Perform intake screenings, and basic needs assessments to ensure referrals are in line with client needs. Provide case management services to domestic violence clients in the overflow program. Drive personal vehicle to conduct program business and travel to hotels in Maricopa County to provide support for clients in crisis. Deliver assistance to clients through crisis intervention, safety planning, providing information and referrals, education on domestic abuse, and offering emotional support. Provide daily basic needs to clients while they are receiving case management. Maintain confidentiality for clients placed in the hotel program. Adhere to safety protocols while conducting field-based case management. Recognize common symptoms of mental health-related issues and/or substance use disorder, including common side effects, reactions, and interactions of medications prescribed. Role model appropriate behaviors to clients in the overflow hotel program by utilizing trauma-informed principles and practices. Be responsible for issues regarding admission and discharge, in conjunction with the program's definitions and policies as relevant to program/client needs. Assist families/individuals in obtaining community services and benefits, securing appointments with outside services and agencies as needed; including, linkages to other agencies/services. Provide referrals and/or coordinate transportation for families to community services, as needed.Compliance/Requirements:
