You must also ensure local security teams have the technical knowledge and resources necessary to meet the ongoing physical security mission.

- Contemporary knowledge of emerging physical security technologies to assess their applicability within the AWS physical security program.
- Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for leadership to make strategic decisions regarding technology and procedure.
- Balance performance metrics such as physical security system installation vendor service delivery performance, actual spend vs. budget variance, cost reduction goal attainment, post installation defect rates, physical security program analysis, etc.
- Manage vendors for the on-boarding, RFQ, bid, contract, QA/QC, and support processes.
- Effectively and accurately manage multi-million dollar budgets for infrastructure projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate across teams and provide support for global initiatives.
