Your Role
The Custom Product Implementation and Quality testing team provides critical analyst support for the product components of complex custom group implementation for both Fully Insured and Self-Funded groups. The Product Implementation Analyst, Senior will report to the Director of Product Implementation. In this role you will intake, review, and analyze medical coding requests. The Senior Analyst will also partner with Program Managers to track business requirements, provide status/dashboard reporting, preparation, and facilitation of meetings with key stakeholders, and management of the Service Marketplace space.
Your Work
In this role, you will:
Collaborate cross-functionally with departmental and business stakeholders, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of product artifacts. Primary focus on medium complexity portfolio, custom and self-funded products Consult on work projection and planning efforts to accomplish objectives of all stakeholders. Be accountable for tracking quality and progress on all work efforts and reporting to management Develop and sustain detailed knowledge of all product types and plan designs. Educate others to deepen and expand their knowledge Understand and comply with Federal and State regulations, Blue Shield regulatory guidelines, and Blue Shield policies and procedures Gather business requirements and provides analysis toward operational efficiency and drives change within the organization. Review inventory input and output from business applications (JIRA, SMP, ShieldLink, Nexus, etc.) Act as Subject Matter Expert of BlueShield of California benefits for all Lines of Business (Small Group, Core, Premier and Individual and Family Plans) and Product offerings (Fully Insured, ASO, Shared Advantage and Medicare). Additional knowledge around BSC’s portfolio cycle process and requirements is not required but highly preferred Provide analytical support for multiple projects simultaneously, establishes work plans and timelines, coordinates with internal and external sources.
