JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Pataskala to join our growing team. 

Summary/Objective : 

We are looking for a fantastic Multi skilled Engineer to join our team in Pataskala, Ohio. Driving our Engineering activities towards world-class performance; make continuous improvement standard practice.

You will set the standards for Engineering, operational activities. Role model behaviors in line with the JELD-WEN standard of acceptance and in accordance with JELD-WEN values and expectations.

What your impact will be

Ensure the safety of yourself and others around you. You will set the standards for Engineering, and operational activities. Role model behaviors in line with the JELD-WEN standard of acceptance and in accordance with JELD-WEN values and expectations You be part of a multi-disciplined, small team of engineers ensuring that planned and reactive work is completed in line with the site priorities and keeping machinery in production. You will assist in the development of the departments Risk Assessment’s, Safe Systems of Work and Planned Maintenance Routines, along with all thing’s continuous improvement. Support with the training and coaching with the apprentices. You will ensure that the sites CMMS is utilized fully. Supports Plant Managers and Leadership team to develop and deliver an engineering continuous improvement culture.

What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience of a SAFETY FIRST culture. Previous experience of a Quality culture of ‘RIGHT FIRST TIME'. Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment. Experience in commercial and industrial electrical installs from the ground up. Working knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70E Experience in pneumatic equipment installations. NVQ or equivalent in both a mechanical and electrical engineering or similar discipline. Previous experience of using a CMMS. Previous experience of working flexibly, conducting basic problem solving and training others. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
