Obtains patient records and prescriptions Assures patient pre-admission paper work is complete Coordinates "PRN" (pro re nata, when necessary) staffing and employee schedules, as needed Supports the front office team, as back-up for phone, front desk coverage, verifying insurance and scheduling Monitors patient equipment requests including coordination with vendors, therapists, and patients to assure completion Maintains patient care database by entering new information & updating Monitors cancellations, makes follow up calls and sends letters Promotes and hosts support groups and special events (Develops fliers, promotes on web page and social media, decides topics and content, coordinates speakers) Maintains web site (bio’s, news stories, patient stories, newsletters and announcements) Reconciles credit card batch sheets daily Orders supplies for clinic Collects weekly and monthly statistical information and assists director in preparing corporate reports Maintains and develops referral source relationships and corresponds with physicians/referral sources Maintains study information and actively recruits participants Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

High School Diploma or General Education Diploma A minimum of two years administrative office experience, preferable in a medical setting Basic knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification process Advanced computer software (Microsoft office) and data entry skills Excellent organizational, customer service, and oral/written communication skills

Salary Range

USD $20.00 - $23.00 / Hour
