SUMMARY:

This position consists of devising, implementing and maintaining corporate electronic data security measures. An IT Security Analyst is expected to develop, maintain and support security software and/or alerts. The person in this position is expected to cultivate an environment of IT security compliance by enforcing corporate policies and facilitating corporate compliance with external regulatory requirements, technical standards and best business practices. Work is performed under general supervision. The associate is responsible for making independent decisions on matters significant to the company.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1.Monitor and advise on information security issues related to the Company systems to ensure the internal security controls are appropriate and operating as intended.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Those skills and abilities required for the position of Associate IT Security Analyst and in addition, the following: Exhibit strong initiative and motivation. Understanding of basic job related concepts. Knowledge of desktop, server, application, database, and network security principles for risk identification and analysis. The ability to adequately document concepts and skills learned for later reference. Exercise analytical reasoning, problem solving, and leadership skills. The ability to work outside the normal business hours, which includes independently responding to off-hour production issues. A willingness to travel as required.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in information security, information security and assurance, information systems, information technology, computer science, a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred. These requirements may be waived or changed at Company discretion by prior education or experience.
