Part-Time Field Coordinator Senior Companion Program

In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, this is a part-time, grant-funded position that assists with the recruitment and placement of senior volunteers for volunteer stations. Interviews, trains, and places volunteers in assignments matching interest, skills and personalities. Assists the Director of the program as necessary. Work involves extensive public relations. Applicants for, and employees within, this position are subject to criminal background checks. This position is contingent upon external funds.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required. Additional formal education desirable. Two (2) years of experience in dealing with the public required, preferably in a social service setting. Must have valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and a personal vehicle available for business use. Clearance of ISP/FBI background checks as well as the National Sex Offender Check (NSOPW).STARTING PAY AND HOURS
$15.15 per hour, up to 28 hours per week.
