Admissions Specialist

Position Summary

Reporting to the Associate Dean for J.D. Admissions & Financial Aid, the Admissions Specialist will have a wide range of responsibilities to meet William & Mary Law School enrollment goals and objectives including, but not limited to:

Coordinating the JD admission application process using designated platforms such as ACES, Unite, and TargetX.; process and complete all applications; post decisions and scholarship; update all fields in ACES and Banner; Process, run, and mail all decision emails through designated platform such as ACES or Unite; Serving as the primary point of contact, responding to phone and email inquiries, and providing administrative support for the Admissions team; Assisting the admission team in counseling prospective and admitted students; Greeting and assisting prospective and current students who visit the Office of Admissions in person; Supporting in-person admission events; Completing special projects assigned by the Associate Dean for J.D. Admissions & Financial Aid; and Acting as backup and support for other Admissions administrative roles.
