PKL Services will be providing contractor organizational level, limited intermediate, and limited depot level aircraft maintenance support and services on the Presidential fleet at NAS Patuxent River Md. Contractor support is required for the VH-92A, VH-3D, VH-60N, test aircraft and other aircraft.

Contractor performance includes but is not limited to flight operations support; O, I and D-level aircraft maintenance; aircraft and component overhaul and repair; technical and engineering support; modification kit development, management and installation; aircraft acceptance and transfer inspections; technical directive incorporation; bulletin compliance; and Planned Maintenance Interval (PMI) for VH-92A aircraft.

* Please note: This position is contingent on contract award to PKL Services. Period of Performance will be 5 years and is expected to start in November 2024.

About the role…

The OOMA Database Administrator (DBA/A) / Logs and Records Technician is responsible for daily upkeep of the Maintenance Activities databases in addition to aircraft, component and engine records.

  • Performs a variety of functions using the Naval Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS).
  • Monitors and manages print request and printer configurations
  • Views and monitors system information, broadcast messages and manages log-in capabilities.
  • Monitors server processes, schedules and rejects jobs. Will add, edit, and delete pre-defined jobs.
  • Maintains system security and advises on matters pertaining to OOMA inputs; extracts, analyses and validates maintenance data.
  • Develops and interprets management reports.
  • Monitors data and parameters for up-line reporting and related interface requirements.
  • Maintains, issues and dispose of aircraft, engine and associated component equipment logs and records. Maintains inventory records including aircraft and engine reports IAW the applicable instructions.
  • Process readiness documents, administer the aircraft configuration status accounting program, and verify aircraft utilization reports.
  • Comply with NAVAIRINST 3710.1 and CNAFINST 4790.2 series.

About you
We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Minimum of five (5) years aircraft maintenance support experience as a DBA/A in the United States Navy/USMC/United States Coast Guard O-Level/I-Level CNAFINST 4790.2 series.
  • Experience must be within the last five years.
  • Rotary Wing Aircraft experience required. S-92, VH-92A, VH-3D, and VH-60N helicopter experience preferred.

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business or Management discipline from an accredited college or university.

Allowable Education Substitution:

  • Associate degree plus four (4) years additional work experience performing duties detailed above may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Or

  • Eight (8) years additional work experience performing duties detailed above may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Other requirements:

  • Top Secret (TS) U.S. Security Clearance. Must be eligible for a Yankee White (YW) U.S. Security Clearance. Only US citizens eligible for this position.
  • Individuals released from Military Service with other than “Honorable Discharge” do not meet minimum qualifications.
  • CONUS and OCONUS travel may occasionally be required.

  • Office / shop environment, hangar.
