1st Shift Smokehouse Machine Op.

·         Load and unload smokehouse and brine chiller with product.

·         Start smokehouses using the proper cook cycles and be able to determine when to stop the cook process.

·         Take all necessary temperature checks and fill out the appropriate documentation.

·         To be able to identify problems with the smokehouse, smoke generators, and brine chiller to ensure the proper cooking and chilling procedures are being met.

·         Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

 

 



Required Skills

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

 

Reading and writing English skills a must.

English speaking a must, bilingual a plus.

Computer experience a plus, but not required.

Must be able to move racks weighing up to 500#+ on a continual basis.

Smokehouse experience and background preferred
