WATER DAMAGE TECHNICIAN
We are a reputable property restoration company specializing in repairing damages to homes and businesses damaged by water, fire, wind, and mold. We provide emergency mitigation and re-construction services throughout the Portland Metro and surrounding areas.
We are currently hiring a WATER DAMAGE TECHNICIAN As a water damage technician, you are a key member of the team who will be responsible for all the details required to properly mitigate and dry a structure.
Water Damage Technician Duties:
· Consistent daily communication with customers and employees via phone, text, and email
· Immediate Response to property damage emergency calls
· Inspection and discovery of damaged property using moisture meters and equipment.
· Pack and move personal property.
· Water extraction using extraction tools.
· Demolition of damaged materials including flooring, cabinets, drywall, and insulation
· Detailed jobsite cleaning after water extraction and demolition
· Application of antimicrobial products
· Set up and monitor drying equipment.
· Utilizing Mica for monitoring and drying procedure
· Keep job sites clean and professional.
· Attend all appropriate company meetings and company sponsored training sessions.
· Clean and maintain drying equipment.
· Available for routine on call rotational emergency services and after-hours work.
Necessary Skill and Experience:
· Understanding of demolition hand tools
· Ability to work safely in a construction environment.
· Ability to lift 50 pounds.
· Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
· Ability to work both independently and as a team.
· Good time management skills
· Problem-solving
· Strong sense of urgency
· Willingness to learn new applications and programs.
· Valid Driver’s license required.
· Clean Background check required.
· Knowledge of MICA Software a plus
· Knowledge of DASH software a plus
· IICRC certifications a plus
Compensation Package:
· COMPETITIVE PAY $25 to $30 per hour depending on experience.
