About You:
This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences’ RESPECT Service System.
About the Opportunity:
The successful barback is responsible for assisting bartenders. They are also required to ensure that the establishment is fully stocked, set up properly, and always cleaned. Barback will report directly to the Director of Food and Beverage.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Provided exceptional hospitality to guest and coworkers as described in RESPECT System Help open/close establishment, clean counters, equipment, and other items in the establishment. Set up and break down bar - Stock and restock bar, clean bar thoroughly in accordance with standard operating procedures Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the bar and all common areas and service stations, clean glasses, utensils, bar equipment, and all other equipment and work areas Ensure the bar has an adequate stock of liquor, glasses, straws, mixology tools, and drink garnishes Fill all ice wells Create attractive displays behind the bars so the most popular liquors would be in full view Maintain stockroom inventory, highlighting when ingredients or supplies need to be ordered Be Prepared to begin work at the schedule time Maintain uniform and personal grooming in compliance with appearance standards Sweep up all trash in and around the bar Check with bartenders to see what needs to be restocked – all products must be restocked at the end of the night Pull mats out of bar area to be washed down. Help close out including cleaning, organization, and restocking Additional job duties assignedRequirements & Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years old. Able to stand and walk for long periods of time High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) required. At least one (1) year of previous bar-tending experience required. Energetic and enthusiastic personality essential Must be able to effectively understand and convey written and verbal information to guests and coworkers. Basic knowledge of food allergens preferred Able to lift at least 50lbs. Will be required to be available for work weekends and on all major holidays.About Us:
