Sr. II Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sr. II Engineer.
In this role, the successful Infrastructure Security Engineer within the Infrastructure Security Group, you will play a pivotal role in securing and managing the network security reporting and automation infrastructure. The primary focus of this role will be on NetSec portal management, Azure and network security automation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and develop robust security measures to protect the organization's infrastructure.
Job Responsibilities:
NetSec Portal Management:Using secure coding methodologies, develop network security portals to ensure they operate efficientcy and security.Implement access controls, authentication mechanisms, and monitoring to safeguard the NetSec portal.Develop advanced integrations for SSL security and Venafi decryption of Internet environment.Azure Security and Automation:Design and implement security controls within Azure environments to protect cloud-based infrastructure.Collaborate with Azure administrators to ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.Develop and implement automated solutions for network security tasks to enhance efficiency and reduce manual on scripting and automation tools to streamline network security processes.Incident Response:Set up security monitoring tools to detect and respond to security events proactively.Security Audits and Assessments:Automate and conduct regular security assessments and audits on network infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.Collaborate with internal and external teams to remediate security findings.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain comprehensive documentation of network security configurations, processes, and regular reports on the status of network security measures and present findings to relevant stakeholders.Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, DevOps, and other security teams, to align security initiatives with overall business knowledge and insights with team members to foster a culture of continuous learning.Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Typically requires 7 or more years of experience and BA/BS degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in network security, with a focus on NetSec portal management and Azure security.
Strong coding and automation skills (, Python, PowerShell, Rust) for network security tasks and expert knowledge of MS SQL/MySQL and Oracle DBs.
Experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and SIEM solutions.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
