Would you like to gain real world experience to begin the foundation of your career? If this sounds like you, then join us as a Finance and Accounting Intern at Vontier. This position reports to the Internal Audit Manager, who will be responsible for ensuring you have real life work experiences in the broader Finance and Accounting organization, and will be hybrid based in our Raleigh, NC headquarters.

The internship period may last up to 12 months for 20-30 hours per week (you will have control of the hours / days you work based on your academic commitments). 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Assist the company in achieving continued compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act ("SOX") including participating in scoping, planning, walkthroughs, testing, status reporting, and communicating with external auditors.
• Participating in a wide variety of financial, operational, and information technology (IT) internal audits.
• Work with the Corporate Accounting team on quarter-end close and financial reporting.
• Work with the Financial Planning and Analysis team on forecasts, along with tracking forecast to actual results.
• Support the Investor Relations team on preparing earnings release materials.
• Additional ad-hoc Finance and Accounting projects as they arise.

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with an anticipated Graduation date on/after Dec 2025.
