One of our clients are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Foreman with a strong background in handling Road and Site Development projects. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in effectively running crews, reading blueprints, and operating GPS equipment on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of Road and Site Development projects.
- Lead and manage construction crews, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
- Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
- Implement and enforce safety regulations on-site.
- Provide training and guidance to crew members.
- Operate GPS equipment to ensure accurate project layout and execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, materials, and equipment usage.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Foreman in Road and Site Development projects.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate crews.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, project plans, and specifications.
- Experience in running GPS equipment on-site.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certification or training in construction management or a related field.
