Overview

We are looking for a motivated Field Service Technician who is responsible for on-site and in-house repairs of customer equipment. The Field Service Technician must be knowledgeable of All World Machinery products, customer equipment, and general service operations. Additionally, the Field Service Technician must ensure that all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines are strictly adhered to. This position is responsible for creating, facilitating, and developing professional working relationships with new and existing customers. We are looking for a driven individual that is seeking to broaden their skills over time with a growing company. We promote a team environment, so you'll work with fellow team members along with other departments throughout our company.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and install equipment and machines
  • Provide support to fellow staff and customers by answering technical inquiries in a timely matter
  • Preserve profitability on all assigned jobs by ensuring work is completed within budget
  • Analyze system problems, determine the best solution, and propose the necessary actions to be taken
  • Update management periodically while on service calls
  • Accurately document all service work and supply management with completed reports
  • Abide by safety guidelines and procedures
  • Assist with other projects or duties as needed

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1-2 years of applicable experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of the mechanical and/or electrical systems utilized in the Machine Tool Industry or Factory Automation
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and leadership skills
  • Above average skills and application of mathematics
  • Current state-issued driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to lift a minimum of fifty pounds
  • Industry-specific certifications are not required, but highly recommended
