Marcum LLP is seeking an experienced Valuation, Forensic, & Litigation Director with strong experience to join our national firm in our Portland, ME office. This position requires a high-energy, experienced professional with strong interpersonal and supervisory skills.

Marcum LLP’s Valuation and Litigation Support Group is a leading provider of business valuation, litigation support, economic damages, financial forensic investigations, and other advisory services. Responsibilities

Generate work through current referrals Manage multiple engagements concurrently Lead dispute investigations Conduct financial investigations Perform due diligence investigations Manage team members to ensure accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and research. Ensure analysis adequately supports conclusions reached. Provide guidance and mentoring to staff to help facilitate staff development.  Determine and manage budgets and profitability. Lead engagements and client interactions. Attend depositions and court appearances

Qualifications

Demonstrate proven ability to generate new business through referrals. Demonstrate ability to lead, motivate, develop and coach teams. Strong interpersonal skills and active participation in networking. Strong project management and problem solving skills. Minimum 10 years of related experience. B.S degree in accounting, finance or economics required. Professional licenses or credentials such as ASA, CFA required.
