Role Description

Brasada Ranch will be hosting a special pop-up by The Yo Store Portland in our Athletic Center. This unique collaboration brings vibrant, eclectic offerings to the heart of Brasada Ranch, providing our Members and guests with an exceptional shopping experience.

The Yo Store is renowned for its curated selection of women's and kids' lifestyle goods, including stylish apparel, artisanal home decor, and thoughtful gifts. Their commitment to quality and creativity aligns perfectly with Brasada Ranch's dedication to providing an extraordinary experience.

This is a customer-facing, retail position and you will be representing The Yo Store at Brasada Ranch through a positive attitude, strong brand knowledge, and enthusiasm. You will be working with The Yo Store manager to ensure the pop-up stays stocked, well-maintained and a good representation of The Yo Store brick-and-mortar.

You will be working mainly solo with support from The Yo Store manager and owner. Initiative and good communication skills are a must. You will be our eyes and ears at this location and will be responsible for sending detailed reports to the team in Portland.

The Yo Store Retail Associate earns $17.50 per hour. This is a seasonal position available from June 4th through September. The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday approximately 30-40 hours per week.

General Responsibilities

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service to guests and members.
  • Full knowledge of all products and ability to address questions about them.
  • Daily opening and closing tasks.
  • Conduct all transactions on the point-of-sale terminal using the specific policies and procedures required.
  • Maintain an organized, sanitary, and safe working area.
  • Ability to fully explain all resort products, services, and other information about the resort to all guests and owners.
  • Perform additional responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Skills/Traits

  • 1 year of retail experience
  • The ability and desire to embrace a sales-focused role
  • Have excellent retail and relational skills
  • Has initiative and works well alone
  • Has a good understanding of small businesses and can adapt when needed
  • The ability to master multiple systems with many layers related to our point of sale system, inventory tracking, customer communication, etc.
  • Weekend and holiday availability
  • Familiarity with Point of Sale systems (Shopify preferred, but not required)
  • Have the ability to carry up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
