AGRICULTURAL ROAD TECHNICIAN
Overview:
GreenMark Equipment is a John Deere dealership with 17 locations throughout Southwest Michigan and Northern Indiana. GreenMark Equipment has built their reputation by providing quality products, having competent and knowledgeable employees, and offering competitive prices. We are looking for a skilled Agricultural Service Technician to independently perform complex diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and dealer-owned agricultural and turf equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnostics & Repairs: Perform diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment and technology.
- Customer Clinics: Conduct or support customer clinics to enhance client knowledge and satisfaction.
- Field Service: Perform diagnostics and repairs in the field as required, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Work Orders: Ensure billable time and assigned work orders are managed effectively.
- Documentation: Complete and thoroughly document diagnostics and repairs on work orders with timely submission.
- Training: Participate in Service Training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment necessary for job responsibilities.
- Work Environment: Maintain a clean and orderly work area, following all safety rules and regulations.
- Product Knowledge: Stay current with John Deere and competitive products to provide top-tier service.
Required Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience performing service repairs on off road, construction, lawn or heavy equipment
- Diesel or gas engine repair required
- Diesel engine rebuild experience is preferred
- Must have an adequate toolset to perform job responsibilities
- Valid driver’s license required
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required; Associate’s degree preferred
