The Peninsula Chicago is seeking an Officer to join our Security team and be an integral part of the hotel's safety and guest-focused service.

Serve as security ambassadors focusing on the safety and security of all guest, patrons and associates as well as hotel assets. Officers will enforce all security procedures and hotel policies in an aggressive yet hospitable manner. Ensure proper operation of all responsibilities of Security operations Maintain a high level of visibility and professionalism while on duty Respond accordingly to all fire alarms, bomb threats elevator entrapments Patrolling all areas of the hotel noting unusual circumstances or safety violations Maintain consistency in performance in accordance with both Peninsula and Forbes standards Communicate with all departments to create a guest centric experienceGeneral Requirements:
2 years of Security experience in the hospitality industry Ability to handle fast-paced, high energy, stressful environment; ability to be flexible with work schedule including some late-nights and weekends. An excellent knowledge of the current computer applications being used. Ability to deal with a high level of work demand and pressure, individual must have great organization skills. Strong command of written and spoken English both written and spokenBenefits We Offer:
