Production Assembler

Job Overview

Performs simple assembly operations in flexible work cell to produce light fixtures, plugs & receptacles, pin & sleeve and other lighting products per production work order. Prior to assembly, check all kitted parts for needed quantity and quality. Follow routing specified on production order for work sequences. Equipment such as power drills, power screwdrivers, arbor press, riveting machine, etc. to be used during assembly. Do final inspection of finished product prior to packaging.

1st (24.95 per hour) and 2nd shift (24.95 per hour plus .50 shift premium) is available.

1st shift is M - F 6 - 230 and 2nd shift is M - TH 215 -1245 am, (2nd is 4 days work week unless overtime is required. Overtime is on Fridays 215 - 815pm when needed).

A Day In The Life

Follows safety policies and procedures Places parts in specified relationship to each other Bolts, clips, screws, cements, or otherwise fastens parts together Tends machines, such as arbor presses or riveting machine, to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly line Works at different cells as product needs require Works in cell where tasks vary as different model of same article moves along line

High School (preferred but not necessary) or GED 1 Year experience preferred
