Royal Truck & Equipment (an Alamo Group company) is accepting applications to fill the position of Fleet & Facilities Administrator in Shoemakersville, PA.

The Fleet and Facilities Administrator position with minimal supervision will be responsible for the maintenance and management of all rental fleet, company equipment, vehicles, and facility components of the operation.

The Fleet & Facilities Administrator will: 

Control building, property, equipment, company vehicles, and rental fleet costs while providing the best possible maintenance programs to ensure company reliability and employee safety. Oversee and coordinate all building maintenance projects, upgrades, new construction, repairs, additions, and security-related matters. Oversee the maintenance and management of all rental fleet, company equipment, vehicles, and facility components of the operation. Manage Rental Fleet Inspection both yearly State and/or Federal as well as damage assessment upon rental return. Maintain and update Rental Status in CRM Assist the management team with final equipment budgets and potential equipment purchases to meet budgetary goals. Comply, understand, and support corporate safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment. Conduct long-term planning for replacement and addition of new equipment asset additions including liquidation of assets. General project management as assigned. All other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will have/be:

Must be able to plan, prioritize, and organize. Must have a complete understanding of license and permit requirements as well as tax issues that pertain to the fleet Must have experience operating equipment such as cranes, skid steers, backhoes, snowplows, and forklifts Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Office, Exel, and Word Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Able to write and speak technical instructions. Problem-solving and analytical. Must be able to produce and complete reports. Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED required, Some college or Associate’s degree in a related field preferred 5+ years experience in a commercial truck dealer /upfitter business. 5+ years of related experience in managing facility and equipment maintenance. Auction experience a plus Must have a valid driver's license.

Working Conditions:

Work in general non-climate controlled manufacturing plant environment and outdoor with exposure to outside elements and/or climates. Frequent standing, bending, stooping, and lifting are required when checking equipment. Must be physically capable of standing/walking (working) 8+ hour shift(s). Speaking, hearing, seeing required to perform duties and/or operate equipment. Communicate via telephone, email, and in person with vendors and company personnel.
