Job Description

:
The Production Assembler performs a range of routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations, under well-defined instructions and in accordance with company policy and safety procedures.

Responsibilities:
* Ability to use electric soldering equipment to the J-STD standard.
* Cut, prepare and pre-tin wires, prepare batteries, apply conformal coat, marking and adhesive bonding
* Follow written and verbal instructions
* Complete work according to instructions, specifications and procedures, under direct and/or limited supervision
* Perform a variety of complex mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations in accordance with company instructions and procedures
* Conduct inspections of own and/or other associates work to insure correctness in accordance with company and/or customer drawing
* Maintain a clean and orderly workstation adhering to 6S standards
* Maintain an acceptable attendance and safety record
* Adhere to all company guidelines, policies and procedures
*Additional job duties and tasks as needed
* Assist other departments with job duties, tasks, training, and development as needed
* Complete additional job duties and tasks as assigned and instructed by Lead Tech / Supervisor

Education and Experience:
* High school diploma/GED
* 2+ years related experience
* US Citizenship required

Skills and Knowledge:
* FAA designated Safety Sensitive position or potential assignment requires pre-employment Drug Test, and is subject to random 10 Panel DOT Drug & Alcohol testing during employment
* Good mechanical aptitude
* Able to operate a variety of hand tools and light machinery
* Capable of performing basic mathematics
* Ability to read and interpret company documents, such as safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies and procedure
* Good manual dexterity required to work with small parts
* Effective oral, written and interpersonal skills

Descripción del trabajo:
El Ensamblador de Producción realiza una variedad de operaciones rutinarias de ensamble mecánico y/o electromecánico, bajo instrucciones bien definidas y de acuerdo con la política y los procedimientos de seguridad de la empresa.

Responsabilidades:
* Capacidad para utilizar equipos de soldadura eléctrica según el estándar J-STD.
* Cortar, preparar y pre-estañar cables, preparar baterías, aplicar capa protectora, marcar y unir adhesivos
* Seguir instrucciones escritas y verbales.
* Completar el trabajo según instrucciones, especificaciones y procedimientos, bajo supervisión directa y/o limitada.
* Realizar una variedad de operaciones complejas de ensamblaje mecánico y/o electromecánico de acuerdo con las instrucciones y procedimientos de la empresa.
* Realizar inspecciones del trabajo propio y/o de otros asociados para asegurar la corrección de acuerdo con el dibujo de la empresa y/o del cliente.
* Mantener una estación de trabajo limpia y ordenada cumpliendo con los estándares 6S.
* Mantener un registro aceptable de asistencia y seguridad.
* Cumplir con todas las pautas, políticas y procedimientos de la empresa.
* Deberes y tareas laborales adicionales según sea necesario
* Ayudar a otros departamentos con deberes laborales, tareas, capacitación y desarrollo según sea necesario.
* Completar deberes y tareas laborales adicionales según lo asignado e instruido por el técnico líder/supervisor

Educación y experiencia:
* Diploma de preparatoria / GED
* Mas de 2 años de experiencia relacionada
* Se requiere ciudadanía estadounidense

Habilidades y conocimientos:
* La posición sensible a la seguridad designada por la FAA o la asignación potencial requiere una prueba de drogas previa al empleo y está sujeta a pruebas aleatorias de drogas y alcohol del DOT de 10 paneles durante el empleo
* Buena aptitud mecánica
* Capaz de operar una variedad de herramientas manuales y maquinaria ligera
* Capaz de realizar matemáticas básicas
* Capacidad para leer e interpretar documentos de la empresa, como reglas de seguridad, instrucciones de operación/fabricación, políticas y procedimientos
* Se requiere buena destreza manual para trabajar con piezas pequeñas
* Habilidades efectivas orales, escritas e interpersonales.
