QUALIFICATIONS:

Required: Bachelor’s degree Valid Texas Teaching Certification with required endorsements Preferred: Three years of successfully teaching culturally and linguistically diverse students at the elementary level Experience in multiple grade levels PK-5 Special Knowledge/Skills: Expertise in second language acquisition and culturally responsive pedagogy Knowledge of the roles and responsibilities of LPAC on campus Experience with using the ELLevation Education platform for compliance and/or instructional purposes preferred Experience preparing and maintaining EL program documentation as required by state and federal mandates preferred Experience with the implementation of Elementary EL programs Ability to guide and coach teachers in the effective implementation of strategies and best practices for English learners Demonstrated strong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills required to achieve the goals of the position Endorsements: Generalist and English as a Second Language Supplemental OR Elementary Self Contained and English as a Second Language Supplemental OR Elementary and English as a Second Language Supplemental OR Core Subjects EC-6 and English as a Second Language Supplemental
