Affordable Housing Attorney

Our client is a reputable law firm dedicated to providing innovative financing structures and low income housing tax credit prgrams to their clients. I am currently seeking a skilled LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) Attorney with a minimum of 7 years of experience to join their prestigious practice group and contribute to their mission of fostering affordable housing initiatives. Partner-level attorneys are welcome to apply, no book required.

This is a remote opportunity - qualified applicants will have experience working with non-profit/for-profit organizations and be able to run point on deals with little to no supervision. Qualifications:

  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Must be licensed to practice and in good standing in state of residence. Willingness to take NY, DC, or CA bar a strong plus, but not required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in LIHTC transactions on the developer side. 
  • In-depth knowledge of LIHTC regulations, tax laws, and real estate transactions.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. This is a remote opportunity, strong communication skills are necessary.
