Job Description

An Industrial Electrician is responsible for completing the following duties:

Install electrical components and troubleshoot electrical systems on equipment manufactured at the production plantInstall electrical panels, switches, wiring, and other electrical components on manufactured equipment to engineering specificationsPerform final electrical testing and documentation.Maintain build quality by verifying part and assembly to printTroubleshoot electrical systems with the engineering teamProvide hands on electrical training to others in assemblyAssist with mechanical and hydraulic assembly tasks when neededProvide feedback to engineering on design and process improvement opportunitiesEnsure that electrical equipment is installed per latest safety codes and best practice methodsElectrical testing is completed and equipment is in compliance with performance standardsImprove manufacturing systems\processes related to electrical areaOther duties as assigned

Qualifications

Journeyman Electrical license or Associates Degree in Electrical or equivalent experienceThorough understanding of: Reading and interpreting electrical schematicsKnowledge of VAC and 24 VDC circuitsAbility to read and understand proper use of electrical measuring instrumentsHand tools such as wire cutters, soldering tools, crimping tools, ectUnderstanding NEC code on manufactured equipmentExperience or training with computers and ability to learn and use specific control software
