About:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Real-Time Sensing Engineer to join our innovative team, focusing on cutting-edge custom IoT and medical devices. This role involves ensuring radar and other sensors achieve the highest possible signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) while developing and maintaining sophisticated algorithms for processing multisensory data in both prototyping and real-time environments. You will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of sensory data into the overall system, driving the company’s product and business objectives forward.


Responsibilities
    • Ensure sensors, particularly radar sensors in our IoT and medical devices, achieve optimal SNR and performance.
    • Develop and maintain algorithms for processing multisensory data, both at the prototyping level (Python) and real-time (C/C++).
    • Design and implement signal filters for sensory streams and reference data using heuristic, model-based, and first-principle methods.
    • Support model development by identifying additional datasets and data modalities to enhance overall system performance.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the data collection process aligns with the company’s product and business goals.

Requirements:
    • MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematical/Physical Engineering, or Control Systems, with at least 3 years of applied experience in a laboratory or startup environment (5+ years preferred).
    • Strong experience in architecting, designing, and developing both Python-based data processing pipelines (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, visualization tools) and C/C++ pipelines for real-time, multi-threaded, embedded systems.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with real-time data pipelines in a production environment (5+ years preferred).
    • Proven expertise in developing and optimizing Python-based data processing pipelines for large-scale machine learning applications.
    • Proficient in Linux/Unix workflows, with hands-on experience in large-scale data processing.
