What You’ll Do

Summary/Objective:

The Director of Strategy is a key role in creating the future and driving the long-term growth of DCU. This leader will report to the Chief Strategy Officer and will collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to identify the market opportunities, develop growth strategies, and work with functional business leaders to ensure alignment across the organization. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, sharp analytical skills, outstanding communication skills and a passion for driving a vision and purpose.

Essential Functions:

Lead the strategic planning process, including market analysis, competitive intelligence, and business modeling. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives. Monitor industry trends and provide insights on potential impacts to the business. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including members, partners, and industry experts. Drive research and analytical support as part of a cross-functional team to identify and evaluate critical strategic opportunities. Apply a strategy management framework to enhance decision-making and performance. Provide strategic guidance and support to various departments within the organization. Utilizes data-driven methodologies to analyze business performance metrics and process improvement options effectively. Conducts periodic status reviews of organizational goals and objectives to identify roadblocks to progress. Develop strategy scorecards, maps and summaries. Prepare and present strategic reports to senior management and the board of directors. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Managers(s).

What You’ll Need

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategy, business development, consulting, or related roles. Proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategies. Strong knowledge, understanding and use of strategic frameworks, tools, and processes. Critical thinking with the ability to distill complex subject matter into digestible and actionable plans. Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Intellectually curious and a continuous learner who stays on top of market and sector trends. Excellent communication and presentation skills Leadership and team management Adaptability and agility Customer focus and market knowledge
