Are you a detail-oriented Structural Drafter seeking a fast-paced opportunity to contribute to impressive multi-story concrete buildings?Selectek has an opportunity for a talented Structural Drafter to join a team at one of the Southeast's leading concrete structure builders, located on the west side of metro Atlanta, GA. This 6-month contract to hire position offers a chance to:
- Utilize your AutoCAD skills to create clear, concise construction drawings.
- Contribute directly to project success by preparing shoring designs and structural details for multi-story buildings.
- Gain valuable experience in the dynamic world of concrete construction.
Responsibilities:
- Develop accurate calculations to support the structural integrity of our projects.
- Draft and maintain AutoCAD drawings that meet industry standards and ensure smooth construction execution.
- Produce detailed field drawings to guide construction crews on-site.
- Collaborate with field staff for seamless project coordination.
- Assist with field inspections to verify construction quality.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must.
- Strong understanding of basic structural analysis and the ability to perform related calculations.
- Prior experience in engineering or designing concrete buildings or structures is preferred.
