A Technical Advisory Group Manager is responsible for driving rapid growth within the Avanade Advisory Business Group. This includes areas such as digital-enabled business strategy, digital experience, and modern approaches to client strategy and technology requirements. It’s all here, so take a closer look Together we do what matters.* Demonstrated ability in a Client Facing role with Management Consulting experience from a top management or IT professional services firm * Demonstrated experience interfacing with executive level clients * Previous experience working on multiple workstreams / engagements in a highly matrixed external client facing environment, with Talent & Project & Budget Management responsibilities * Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills * Aptitude for creative and/or critical and analytical thinking as well as the capacity to accept out-of-the box solutions * Autonomous, positive problem solver, highly flexible and willing to work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary global team * Experience discussing and surfacing a wide range of strategic imperatives across functional, operational and technological issues * Industry experience in one of the following industries preferred - Resources (O&G, Energy), Healthcare, Retail/CPG, Manufacturing, CMT, and Financial Services * Bachelor’s degree or comparative years experience in related field, MBA preferred * "2 in a box" sales experience (i.e. aligning with Business Development Executives to support client sales activities) Preferred experience * Cross-sector and functional experience highly desirable (Financial Services/ Healthcare/ Life Sciences/ Manufacturing/ Utilities/ Media/ Communications/Supply Chain/Business Applications) * CIO Strategy and IT Strategy * IT Operating Model & Governance * Merger, Acquisition, and Divestitures * Application Modernization * Significant IT/Technology industry understanding and/or experience * Digital Strategy and Transformation, Customer Experience Strategy and Experience Design * Emerging Technology Strategy and Assessments (RPA, Blockchain, AI/Bots, AR/VR, etc.) * Technology Cost and Value Optimization * Cloud Transformation Assessments (Microsoft Azure preferred) * Best of Breed Working methodologies (Agile, DevOps) * Data & Business Intelligence Strategy, Insight and Analytics (using Microsoft technologies)* You are an accomplished leader with experience in an outcome-oriented, entrepreneurial environment. You have demonstrated the ability to develop and execute a strategic plan to drive growth in the region and have management consulting experience. * You can set a compelling direction for the business and innovative strategies to address customer needs. * You have a strong business acumen, possess an extensive and distinctive track record of delivering growth, and be able to lead teams effectively.* Strategic Advisory: Provide strategic advice to clients on digital transformation initiatives, including but not limited to digital strategy development, technology strategy, cloud strategy & adoption, application modernization and business process optimization. * Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, Business Development Executives, and Client Account Leads, understanding their business needs and challenges, and providing tailored digital solutions. * Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the Tech Advisory team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. * Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of digital trends and technologies as well as contribute to thought leadership in the field of digital and technology transformation.* Top-shelf clients - our clients accelerate value by being bold, imaginative - and fast.
