Ginosko Development Company is a multi-state affordable housing development company with over 20 years of experience in affordable housing development dedicated to "building a brighter future today" for the residents of our communities. Ginosko and our principals or affiliates are the developers and owners of over 4,000 units of multifamily housing, most of which are affordable or mixed income. Our portfolio is location throughout Michigan, Illinois, Ohio and growing.

Position Summary:

The Construction Project Supervisor is responsible for the safety and direct supervision of staff on multi-family construction projects. Using their strong communication, interpersonal relations, organization, planning and supervisory skills the Construction Project Supervisor is the primary onsite point of contact working with owners, architects, engineers, construction crews, vendors, subcontractors and others.

The ideal candidate for this position should have:

  • Associate's degree or certificate in construction management, engineering or related field preferred, Bachelor's Degree a plus.
  • At least 4 years of experience in construction project supervision experience in multi-family construction. Modular build experience preferred.
  • Prior experience with ProCore and RSMeans.
  • Prior project management software/program experience.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and plans.
  • Knowledge of multi-family home construction processes, building codes, and quality control standards.
  • Knowledgeable of applicable OSHA safety requirements.

Primary Work Location: Initial project site location is in the City of Detroit. Ability to travel to sites throughout Michigan, Illinois, Ohio and more; and may be assigned on location for lengthy periods of time.
