Job Summary
Foster a positive, motivating environment for all athletes. Maximize client retention through best-in-class service: coaching, training, nutrition, and accountability. Oversee the process to check in with our athletes on a regular basis.
Lead regular coach meetings and provide feedback to coaches on coaching the D1 way.
Oversee all athletic programming to ensure we are giving our athletes the best product and experience possible.
The Head Coach will be involved in the selling and upselling process. Regular roleplaying will be involved Sales commissions will be a bonus on top of salary.
Responsible for the hiring/firing/training/certification of all coaches.
Foster a positive, motivating environment for all athletes.
A D1 Coach must be dedicated to training and improving the lives of D1’s members by exhibiting passion, expertise, high energy, a positive and motivating attitude, strong character, and over-the-top customer service.
Assess and align each member with the proper program.
Build and maintain relationships with each D1 member.
Coach group workouts, personal training, and teams.
Deliver accurate, industry-leading educational advice on strength, speed, and nutrition.
Teach proper form and technique and keep our athletes safe.
Responsibilities
Foster a positive, motivating environment for all athletes.
Lead athlete events such as combines, skills camps, and community events.
Lead a team of full-time and part-time coaches.
Maximize client retention through best-in-class service: coaching, training, nutrition, and accountability.
Modify and adapt movements that are best suited for the individual at hand.
Reduce an athlete's risk of injury by focusing on proper technique and movement patterns.
Qualifications
Has a valid AED/CPR/First Aid certification.
Certifications in Strength and Conditioning, Personal Training, Fitness Instruction, or related certification.
National Strength and Conditioning CSCS preferred or willingness to work towards CSCS with continuing education.
Experience in membership sales (preferred).
Minimum of 3 years of strength & conditioning-related experience in group, team, or personal training setting.
Has a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or a related field (preferred).
Has experience working or playing for a Collegiate or Professional Sports team/organization (preferred)
Compensation
· Base salary, ranging from $40,000 to $50,000 based on experience
· Competitive bonus and Incentive Structure
*Motivated and driven individuals should expect their gross annual income to range between $65K-$80K
